Hostel Information
This is an all private room facility. All of our rooms have key-locking doors. We have several sizes of private rooms available. Each room can accommodate between 1 and 6 guests. Look through our various room types to decide which option best suits your needs. Please note: all charges for extra guests are payable on arrival.
We have the following room types:
• Large double bedroom with 1 king size bed (+ option to add a 3rd guest at $20/night).
• Large double bedroom with 1 queen size bed (+ option to add a 3rd guest at $20/night).
• Deluxe double bedroom, with 2 queen size beds, sleeps up to 4 people (+ option for an airbed for a 5th guest at an additional $20 /night when available).
• Small single room, also known as the budget room has a double bed. *Our budget room can sleep up to 2 people($10/night extra for a second guest), and can be reserved under the single room option. Please be aware that it is a small room. There is just enough room for the bed, and some space to hang your clothes and some drawers. (Luggage can be stored under the bed.) It is private and you have a key locked door, but it is small. Please look at the photos of the budget room before booking the 1 person room.
Our double rooms and quads options should not be confused with the budget room.

You may book up to 1 room directly from this site. However, if you want to book more than 1 room you must contact us before booking.
Any stay of less than 3 nights will be charged a $10 per night short stay supplement charge.

Morningside Park, with Manhattan's only waterfall, 2 blocks away
Columbia University is 3 blocks away
10 different museums all less than 2 miles away (3 and 1/4 km) including The Guggenheim Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Museum of Natural History
The Time Warner Center is right on our subway line

***Ensuite reservations are private apartments and have an additional 1 time $50 cleaning fee collected at check in, which will not appear on your reservation sheet.***
Ensuite reservations of 3 nights or fewer have a $50 one time short stay supplement which will not appear on your reservation sheet.

Reservations and payment policy :
We accept reservations for a stay of up to 28 days.

Reservations longer than 7 night require prepayment of all nights beyond the first 7 nights.

*Group reservations and common itinerary must be prepaid.

For all reservations, in order to hold your reservation, a deposit payment must be made.
Two to three weeks before arrival, we will charge an advance payment of the cost of the first 3 nights + taxes. If guests cancel before 14 days of arrival, we will refund the full amount charge. If guests cancel after required notice period, we will refund 2 of the nights and charge one night’s stay as the cancellation fee.
Guests without valid credit cards or advance paypal payments being made will not have their reservations honored under any circumstances.


Cancellation Policy:
Written notice of a cancellation, 14 or more nights before your scheduled arrival, is required to avoid a 1 night charge.
Guests will receive detailed instructions and a personal access code by email 8-14 days before their arrival in order to be able to self check in 24 hours a day.
If a guest will be traveling during that time period and/or will have limited internet access please contact us and we will send out the guest's personal access codes ahead of schedule, based on the guests' needs.

Our quads rooms have a queen and 2 singles set up as a bunk bed. Sometimes a quad reservation may recieve the 6 person room but to insure that you get that room, you must book the 6 person room.

Arrivals and departures outside of those times will be charged an additional fee of $20, $30, or $40, accordingly.
