Nice, cheerful! Best value in town
This was my second visit to Angkor (Siem Reap). This inn is brilliant both in terms of value and quality. The people are so nice (Sony is so helpful and cheerful in presenting his Angkor and food to us). The room is very clean with housekeeping everyday and a new bottle of mineral water. There is a fridge in my room too (we bought ice-cream for a treat!! After a long day of sightseeing, lying in a air-conned room after a hot shower is the best thing of all. This hostel lies on a road to the angkor wat and the sights too, so it is quite nice for sightseeing. Though, Its location is a bit far from the old market (ten minutes tuk tuk, but old market is too noisy for me). the hostel offer free drive to old market but we have to find our own tuk tuk on our way home (anyway it's just US$2). There is a local fruit market nearby the hostel. The breakfast is included, though basic indeed (bread with jam/butter served with tea/coffee). But considering the price (costing me US$5.25 per night), there is nothing to complain. There is a crocodile farm next to the hostel, you can see them (well, around twenty of them, I did count) through the inn window. That is not everyday experience. I am well entertained by their environment and overwhelmed by their service and quality. I dare to say their quality and price are quite unbeatable. Definitely, siem reap worth a third visit, this inn would be my number one choice.
