I had an amazing time in Rome! I would recommend Hostel Beautiful 2 to anybody who wants to visit Rome on a budget. The accommodations are quite enjoyable and the people are very reliable. A great perk is the easy Internet access at this great little cafe down the street and around the corner. The guy who runs the cafe is very friendly and is an amazing guy. Even if you don't need to check your e-mail, you've got to go there and meet him!! :)

Basically a hotel room with three bunk beds in it. Nicer than some of the hostels I have been in.

The worst hotel I have visited in my life! The shower was damaged, doors from the bathroom were broken, and there was a fungus on the wall! Views were really breathtaking...devastated walls and windows. Staff should brush their teeth more often, that's not a joke!!! In my opinion this hotel is really terrible. I wouldn't give it more than one star.

Probably the worst hotel I've visited. Despite the fact that it was located on the 4th floor there was no elevator, only long uncomfortable stairs. I heard that our room was not ready yet and we were gonna get another room for an exchange. Well, that room was nice, but due to the arrival of guests from France we were moved into other room which doesn't have a bathroom, and has only two beds and a table. The guy from reception was senseless; he was changing his mind every five minutes. After a long tiff finally we returned to our room. Now I really hate hotels in Rome!!

First I would like to say that I was really positive about my trip to Rome in March 2005, until I saw the hostel. It is really located on 4th floor, and the area near the hotel looks like destroyed Warsaw in 1944. Hostel "Beautiful" has got a really nice picturesque view, like one in an underground toilet. Devastated windows, balconies and walls are the only things you can see. Stuff stinks like rats (really). In my room the shower was broken, the TV was without power cable and there was a nice big fungi on the wall smiling at me. I can write about such "details" for ages but one thing is important: NEVER even think about taking this hostel. With best wishes, a shocked Polish tourist.

It's an absolute shocker. It is located on the 4th floor, but there is no
mention of it not having a lift. The room that we had faced into a
courtyard, and every time you opened the window you could smell
rotten fish. Interior doors, shower, and curtains were broken. I would not
recommend this place to a dog. PS-no remote control for the TV.
