The Hostel is nice! The rooms are very clean but dark because the windows of most romms are located to a small dark inneryard (This kind of inneryards are typical for Spanish and Latin American hosuses). Just the dishes are a bit dirty and you have to wash them before useing. You can use internet for free. The stuff is nice exept an older woman. Furthermore she can´t speak english. Even though there were a couple of small administrative problems which they solved immediately, I liked this hostel very much. First and foremost, it is very clean. They changed the towels everyday and cleaned a room everyday (what I cannot say about some other accommodation facilities I used in the past). The staff, though does not speak English, was helpful, friendly and nice. The hostel is only 5-10 mins away from the Playa de las Canteras. A bus stop is very near so you don't need to go far to hop on the bus and reach Santa Catalina or San Telmo bus (guagua) station. In the hostel, you can freely use the internet. Hostel 7 Soles is very basic, but a good value overall and has a really nice staff.As I found out Las Palmas is not a real young people destination; the hostel is not the place to meet young people and not very lively but has a great location close to the beach.
