La Turbie is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France. This was a brilliant place to stay and well worth the price. The hotel is in the centre of La Turbie (a little town overlooking Monaco) and has amazing views. The staff were really really friendly and the restaurant was fantastic!! Overall a very nice place to stay - the only thing I would say location wise is that if you don't have a car then it's difficult to get around. The buses to Monaco and Nice are very irregular (one every few hours) and don't run on Sundays, but you can walk down to Monaco which is a nice walk of about an hour, but only if you don't mind a tough walk back up the mountain!
