The worst dump I´ve ever been to.
Don't go there. The place is in a creepy area of Harlem and seems very dangerous. We heard screaming in the night, suppose it came from the street. The hostel is cheap, but that's the only good thing about it. It's dirty and scary, especially if you arrive late in the evening like I did. If all the other places are full and you really must go there when it's dark, take a cab, cause trust me, you don't wanna look like a tourist in this neighborhood. The owner is not arrogant, more like nonchalant. He doesn't care about many things. He has a parrot in the reception, which makes the place even more bizarre.
