Best hosts in Jodhpur Amar Niwas has been our favorite hotel we have stayed at in India. Sunil and Neena are the warmest, most friendly, and helpful hosts. The accommodations are basic but very funky. Neena is a fantastic cook. Her paneer paratha and Spanish omelet are delicious, and her homemade yogurt is tangy in a way that mass-produced yogurt never is. Sunil and Neena helped us order custom-tailored clothes and make travel plans. They also took very good care of us, making sure the clothes fit just right, and that we didn't get ripped off by unscrupulous spice merchants. Staying at Amar Niwas is like joining an Indian family for a few days. We've enjoyed playing Auntie and Uncle to their energetic little boy. Plus, nothing can compare to the thrill of sleeping in Adrian Brody's bed! — mofuzz , USA (2008-12-27)
