Tarxien has the oldest temples known as "Tarxien Temples", dated back to about 2800 BCE. The temples feature various statutes and relieves of animals and statues of Mother Goddess that are to represent fertility.
The Bowyer House is one of the best Hostel Houses in its category. This award winning performance is the result of careful attention to detail and standard of service. It offers ample facilities together with a comfortable, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is the perfect hostel for families and couples of all ages that are in search of a very quiet place to relax and to enjoy their holiday, with a good range of facilities close by.
It boasts 37 guest rooms which make a total of 102 beds. The Bowyer House houses a fine dining outlet namely "Kastell Restaurant" and a lounge bar namely "Il-Kastell Wine Bar".
As a new vacation Hostel House, the Bowyer House provides extensively for sports and leisure. It provides a large outdoor Swimming Pool, a large sun terraces, a large inside Tennis Court and a large fully equipped Gymnasium. It has also the facilities for Conferences & Meetings Utilities, Exhibitions and Art Displays.
Besides that, the Bowyer House is also available for private functions such as ‘Pasta Night', a day by the pool, a Wedding/Engagement Reception, BBQs, and lots of more.
