4   Everything great apart from wifi The room was very cosy, nice furniture. looked well taken care of and newly renovated. bathrooms spotless and newly renovated, nice towels. Excellent location right in old town. only downsides -- the bathroom is shared (but it was right opposite the room); the wifi is rubbish, didnt work most of the time properly.  , age 32, UK ()
1  I find it very strange that this hostel gets so many good ratings. There is no real common area where guests could comfortably sit down and hang out (at least not in June 2004 when I stayed there). An extremely small, ugly and disorganized kitchen acted as a living room (it's got a small TV) as well as a kitchen. Besides, the hostel crowd was one the most boring ones I've come across in any hostel in any country. (I've stayed in hostels in more than 10 countries). The location is great, though.  ()
5  Great small hostel. It has small rooms, close access to the beach, and a friendly owner. What more could you want? It's very central. Recommended for staying in San Sebastian.  ()

4  This is a great hostel. It's small and personal. The owner David is more than willing to assist in any way he can, and you are close to anything of interest in San Sebastian. Although the building looks old, the hostel is well kept and quite clean. And, it was only 10 euros a night.  ()
4  This hostel was excellent. They didn't have enough room for us at first, and so the owner hooked us up with his friend across the street and around the corner. We stayed with him for the same price and the rooms were exactly the same, but as bonus we had access to the BIG bathroom. Also, we still had the key to the other main hostel and could enter and use the kitchen or hang out whenever we pleased. It's one of cheapest hostels around San Sebastian at 23 euros per night. It's in a GREAT location, a main shopping and nightlife area (well, until 3 a.m. at least--then you have to walk down the Concha beach to access the main discos, which are not far). This is one of my favorite hostels, and I recommend staying here.  ()
5  This was by far the best hostel experience I had in my 2 months in Europe. The owner was very nice, and willing to help in any way he could. The location was perfect--just a few minutes from both beaches. The hostel had a very comfortable, homey feeling, and it made me feel like I was part of a big family. It's awesome.  ()
5  Best location in town. The beach is just a few steps away. The guy running the hostel was very friendly, and he made it a pleasant place to stay without the annoyances of a large hostel.  ()
