Villa de l’Arc - Résidence Provençale - is a beautiful mansion at the edge of downtown Orange in the Vaucluse. The Villa is situated at a comfortable five minutes walk from downtown.

Villa de l’Arc was build at a unique historic spot: right on the roundabout of the Arc de Triomphe, the more than 2000 years old Roman monument, that is still in almost pristine state. Orange is a pleasant town of about 28.000 inhabitants in de Provence with lots of history, all services and situated right in the middle of the wineries of the Southern Rhône-area, about two hours south of Lyon. The infamous Mont Ventoux is very close, as are the cities of Avignon and Nîmes. The international airport of Marseille and the Mediterranean Sea are at a driving distance of less than one hour.

Since 2001, Villa de l’Arc had been used as a luxury Guesthouse.

•by road:
• From the north take the A7 to Marseille, or from the south the A7 or A9 to Lyon. Take exit 21 near Orange. Then you are only 5 minutes away from Villa de l’Arc. After the toll exit, go into the direction of the center of town, i.e. straight at the first round-about, straight again at the second and left at the third. There is a sharp turn to the right and then traffic lights. Go left there. You can spot the Arc de Triomphe from a distance. Villa de l’Arc is on the left-hand side, just in front of the Arc.
• by rail:
• There are ‘normal’ train services as well as TGV to Orange from any city in France. For the rapid train (TGV), an other closest station is 'Avignon TGV', less than 3 hours from Paris. From there it is only 20 minutes to Villa de l'Arc by car, by train or bus.
• by air:
• Many airlines fly into Marseille International Airport. You may also consider using RyanAir from London to Nîmes.
