Not sure what THEY said about themselves, but relied on former guests reviews. The neighborhood might seem a bit scary if you are the kind of tourist that prefer to protected yourself from the reality with your credit-card. Both staff and the neighborhood in general are nothing but friendly and helpful. Rooms are of good size, more than acceptable standard and clean. The neighborhood can be a bit noisy in the morning, so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs.

It was functional, clean and cheap. Supplied all the basic needs and was secure. Oh and the funniest guard dog ever

Look out of your window and see the cultural differences in Makati. This is an experience not to be missed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and always greeted you with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

It has a feel of home, so i'd definitely stay here whenever I am in Manila ang need to stay there for sometime. Our stay was a very quick one but it's enough to put this place on my top 5 favorites.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is where at first you feel little bit uncomfortable (as located in side street) but people outside are friendly and we never felt unsafe. Rooms are big and clean (with AC). Free WIFI. Different shops are nearby the hostel.

The owner as well as the staff are very friendly and accomodating, making you "feel at home". They are always available to assist you in your needs and you can get answers to your questions i.e. locations of places you wish to go.The place has a friendly atmosphere, is clean and the price is very affordable considering its location.

ok spot for you money. definitely not a place to meet people. but privacy is nice. i say stay at this spot for awhile if you need to, then move to the melting pot. kind of dirty. in a dirty part of makati. not many places to eat. cockroaches in the room.

This place is good value for money, especially near the Makati area. The rooms are very quiet, especially the ones not facing the street. You can spend the whole day not hearing a sound out there. The toilets are good enough, has warm to hot water depending which room. Each room has a phone and the wifi internet is intermittent, but easily fixed (just ask the owner to turn the routers off and on).I'd definitely come back here.IKC

Rooms are big - it's like a small apartment, good for a couple. It's close to the airport, it should be 150 pesos max! But the neighborhood is not the best one, streets are dark and not foreign-friendly, as most place in the Philippines are. But it was worth the stay for the cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff .

In comparing to other accomodations, the room was very big. This accomodation is especially good for a long stay!

it was not elegant or spectacular, it was simple and cute and thats what I expected and got. I was happy with the price and the realization you got free WiFI when major hotels like Mandarin and Marriot still want to gouge their guests, that was what made me extremely happy with the place. I would recommend the place to backpacking and causual stay friends going to Makati. THe neighborhood did look a little scarey at night though :(
