Owner wonderful, feel like part of a family
Quiet, comfortable, very clean, inexpensive for a private room, kitchen with dining and sitting area available, five-minute walk from the Trolle or major grocery store, just outside of the Mariscal district so it is quite safe, but close enough for a very cheap taxi ride at night. or you can just walk during the day. hot water, plenty of towels and toilet paper. Best of all is the owner who welcomes you with a special treat to make you feel welcome. It's a special place where people become connected if they so choose. The owner is a wealth of info and is extremely helpful. Her love of people shines through. The only downside is that check in is like 5 p.m. and after, which for many is not a problem. People who come here to stay will come back whenever they return to Quito. I know that I will be one of them!
