The rooms are quite big...You get reasonable amenities in the room...The location is also at the heart of Sultanahmet; however a bit difficult to find...Look for the JUST BAR...The address no. 18 keeps on changing as told by Hasan, the guesthouse owner...You can get lot of tour companies in the area...

I would highly recommend this hostel to all travelers. It's clean enough, rooms are large and light (with heavy curtains for those who prefer to sleep longer) and breakfast is good, staff is very friendly and helpful. You can meet people in just bar with the best music in the street (there is lot's of bars and hotels in the street and just definitely has the best music). It is a noisy location so for those with sleeping isuess (like me) i recommend using suppositories for the ears.

If you think location, thats the place to be. If you think savings, thats the place to be. If you think rest, don't be there, it is loud and if you think big, don't expect size.It is pretty clean, the staff helpful and the location is great. Now, for everything that is written about it on line, you will have to ask. Like, free beer, free airport shuttle, free breakfast, free internet... remember, you have to ask.The Bar down stairs is good and it can be loud. To go around is pretty easy and the location is great.Remember, you get what you pay, don't think about Hilton when you are paying 20 bucks a night.

The staff were really helpful, there are some great people running the place. The bar downstairs is awesome and the noise isn't actually too bad if you want to get to sleep earlier. Good size room, comfy bed, good music and discount at the bar, lots of laundries and eateries nearby. Great location.

Big rooms with really clean bathroom. Lot of natural light but music is a little bit high in the bars of the street. Staff is very kind. We really recommend, specially for young people.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and most of them spoke English very well. The bar downstairs (by the same name) was fun and they even asked us to write down a list of song requests! It was a fun place to stay in a great location with a decent number of food options and lots of sightseeing nearby.

Being on top of a bar, it’s always noisier, but the main difficulty I got was that there was still less care for the pension than for the bar itself… so, some comfort, noise, and security aspects were not so well taken care. Nevertheless we only “suffered” from other tourists “bad behaviour”. If you don’t expect too much you will be perfectly fine, hope you have more luck with your neighbours.

The location it's great. It's situated near shore in Sultan Ahmet, also real close to important sightseeing places: Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Cistern Basilica, etc. The area it's nice, and clean compared with other areas from Istanbul. Plus around there are a lot of nice places, with cheap food and drink. One of the bartenders (I think his name is Huzniu, or something like that ...) was speaking really good English, and was very friendly and helpful. He served us in a really nice manner, and helped us with indications and advices where needed.

Nothing. Place has a very serious concern regarding cleanliness. Room what we got in the beginning had dirty bed linen with odour and other people hairs on the pillows. We were forced to change the room 2 times until we got more or less clean one. However for our own safety we put bed linen on the inner side to feel more or less ok. However, to be honest, personnel working there was quite friendly and easygoing . Value for money - nothing. 42 eur per double room too much for this place. Place is more or less suitable for one night stands but not for having pleasant time in Istanbul. What else?..upon arrival nobody even asked us about our documents and vouchers. So basically nobody cares who stays in their place. After 2 nights we finally decided to change this place to another.

I did not like this property at all due to the abrasive and unhelpful staff and the dirty rooms (sheets were uncleaned and remained so even after I asked that they be changed).
