5   Great for long-term stay, as well as short. I run a nonprofit which facilitates a Biomedical Technology diploma program at nearby Arusha Technical College, aimed at addressing hospital equipment failures throughout Tanzania. Sakina Campsite has been my "home away from home" for the past two years, where I collectively spent 7 months over several trips. Robert and Jennifer are like family -- excellent hosts. Accommodations aren't fancy, but the atmosphere is relaxing and grounds very secure and enjoyable -- and the price can't be beat in Arusha or around. Try bargaining with a Maasai vendor for fresh produce in the nearby street stands and cook it up in the kitchen -- Robert can give you tips on everything, as well as rock-bottom prices.  , age 50, USA ()
4   Cosy place to stay Sakina campsite is cosy place to stay, you will be able to awake listening birds tweet in the morning, also you can have superb view of Mt. Meru from its garden. Two staffs, Robert and Jennifer are nice persons.
Response from the accommodation: Dear Yasuhiko , thank you for your review , we are all happy that you had a great time at sakina campsite, Cheers, Robert  , Japan ()
5   Amazing! Sakina Campsite ended up being our favourite experience out of our entire trip in Eastern Africa. Zipporah was super knowledgeable and helpful and made our stay there perfect. She arranged a three day all inclusive safari with a trusted company for us at an exceptional price. Her staff were all very friendly, and her cook was awesome! As mentioned in other ratings, it is not in the town centre, but that made for undisturbed sleep, instead of the constant noise at other places we've stayed.  , Canadian ()
5   Great place to relax I just want to second my wife's comments. We really enjoyed our stay at Sakina. It's a bit out of town, but easy to get to. If you want to go out and enjoy the nightlife maybe it's not the best place, but if you just want to relax at night and watch a movie or read a book, it's perfect. Very clean, and very friendly staff.  , USA ()
4   Nice and Quiet! My husband and I stayed in a double with a shared bathroom. Room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Zipporah, the owner, is full of energy and knowledge of the area and beyond. The food was also quite good. Not in the city center, which we liked, but Arusha is easily accessible via dalla dalla. Would recommend staying here if you're in the area.  , USA ()
