5  Great Surprise -- No Regrets! The place is three blocks away from the bus terminal of "Segunda Clase" of Merida and four blocks away from the Main Park. The door does not reflect the beauty of the place, the surprise comes from behind the door. At first, you have a warm welcome. The hostess is very helpful with Merida's culture and nightlife, as well as with all of the touristy places around. There is whatever is needed in the rooms -- and even more. The common areas and the rooms are clean. Moreover, the kitchen can be used whenever. At last but not least, it is a real pleasure to take a rest in the garden with the stars above you. Highly recommended!  , France ()
2  Overpriced; pics make it look better than it actually is It is one of the more expensive guesthouses and costing about 50% more than many of the downtown hotels. The place is bit cluttered, full of the owner's junk & knickknacks. Also, It is Not a hostel. It is a small guesthouse with three private rooms. The main thing this place has going for it is that it is fairly close to the bus station. Other than that I would suggest trying somewhere else first.  , UK ()
5  Really great place to stay i liked the atmosphere in this hostel a lot. the location is almost perfect. in the same street as the bus station and only a block away from the center and it's calm. the owner is a very very friendly and helpful lady. I really enjoyed my stay here and i would recommend this hostel to everybody who wants to stay a few days in merida.  , Germany ()
