Above expectations I booked this hotel as part of my stag do so was very aware that it would need to be on a budget to save as much money as possible for the evening. The cost was £20 per person which as far as I can see is one of the best value hotels I could find so close to the centre (four miles). The hotel had shared bathroom facilities which I expected for the price but had more than one of these. the decor was basic as were the beds but this yet again was as with expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and really seemed to want us to enjoy our stay with them, this was proved when the manager was present to let us in when we returned from our night out at 4 a.m. The breakfast on offer was cereal and full english along with tea coffee and fruit juice and was all included in the price which I thought was great value for money. Overall the stay was above my expectations and you should certainly not be put off by the description of the area surrounding it. — Martin Hamlington , Bingley, United Kingdom (2009-09-16)
