This is a very pleasant place to stay after the bustle of Rome and was my favorite on a 10-day journey spanning Pisa-Naples. It takes longer to get to than they state — the connections are good to the city but I guess you have to know the timetables well to make the most efficient journey times. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and new looking towels, soap and shampoo were provided as well as a mini fridge full of a variety of free drinks. The site in general has an excellent maintenance program and a lot of care seems to have gone into the presentation of the site. The reception staff are not particularly helpful and service was slow — we felt a bit of an inconvenience to them when we wanted to pay (!). They kept wanting us to pay later (perhaps on another colleague's shift!). We were disconcerted to note that although the site says credit cards accepted they usually will not accept payment by credit card unless the figure is 150.00-plus euros, as we were reliant on paying that way — they did allow us to, however. Also, their brochure mentions that breakfast is included for bungalow occupants but we were told this was not the case as we'd got a reduced tariff over the Internet. There is a supermarket across the road from the entrance but it is a bit of a hike from the bungalows to the entrance and across a very busy road. On arrival we were transported to the bungalow by a golf-like-cab; we didn't seem to be able to catch one at any other time. We had free use of the pool — overall I'd be more than happy to stay in this place again.

I visited Flaminio Village last year when my friends and I were backpacking around Italy. The restaurant and pizzeria were very good and the staff were very friendly. The swimming pool and shop were also nice. The only downside to this campsite that I can think of is it is very quiet; this may be a good point for families! But for nightlife it is not so good. After the bar closes (at around 11) the campsite basically closes. Apart from that, this is a very good site!
