This place is way too far out. It's the student residence term time and most of them even hate it. In Galway when it rains, it really rains, and although the walk to Corrib Village is lovely by the river, there is no lighting at night and no shelter. There is a bus but traffic makes it unreliable. It'd be fine if you had a car and family but it's not really for us backpackers. It's at least a 20-minute walk from town. — Anonymous (2004-11-19)
