On arriving there wasn't anyone at the reception. Also, the room didn't have any heating. It was freezing cold in the night. After calling the reception at least four times, and promises of it's being sorted nothing happened and at last an electric room heater was provided. I asked for a room change and I wasn't provided any. Also, the room was small and the beds in a pretty bad shape with the counterpanes unclean, bathroom unclean. floors creaking and broken. shower not working. shaver lights not working and to be honest for the price it was not at all worth it. I checked in late at 10:30 p.m. and was able to have a fillet steak dinner and a bottle of wine. You don't get that in a four-star hotel at that hour. The room should not be used as part of the hotel--it is very old and very run-down. If you don't believe us, go to the Dubrovnik and check out room 12. This hostel also comes with an old lady who smacks little boys and calls them 'f**king boys."
