This is a con. We got ripped off by this horrible man who will steal everything he can from you.

4 I stayed here last year and quite enjoyed it. It's not in the heart of the city per se, but you're two steps from the Metro. I actually started walking one day and suddenly found myself approaching the Champs after about an hour. The room was comfy and clean, nice continental breakfast, the Italian restaurant (Restaurant Palatino) just down the way was a blast since the owners treated me like family. The area can be a little seedy, but I never felt unsafe. The staff was very nice too! And all this for about $45 CDN a night. Worth it if you want a nice, cozy place to stay on a small budget!

3 The staff were very nice, however the luggage storage is simply putting your luggage in the lobby. Nothing was taken but it's a little scary nevertheless. The rooms were quaint, but very adequate for the cost and very clean. There was a bit of construction going on at the time but that is understandable. The location however was great! It's a two-minute walk to a Metro stop, which means you can get to pretty much anywhere you want. There are ATMs, restaurants, and supermarkets within walking distance. A good hotel overall.

1 Staff are playing dirty games with you, if you have booked your room online with your credit card. At the very end of your stay you can be asked to pay some 100 euros more than you were promised in your online booking confirmation.

3 This place is a little inconvenient as it involves catching 2 trains to the main tourist areas and to the main train interchange. It is however close to lots of restaurants and a supermarket. The rooms are clean and fairly modern. The free breakfast is nothing special and the breakfast room is tiny which means that you have wait your turn.
