Not much to do in Bordeaux. Our room had a TV. The shower smelled. However, it was really cheap and you get some privacy. It'll do.

I recommend skipping Bordeaux entirely-didn't like it so much-and spend more time elsewhere, like San Sebast, if you can. This hostel is down a small narrow street-close to the main downtown area, pretty safe, great restaurants close by. There is no air con in the rooms though, and the streets are pretty noisy at night. The room has its own TV with Music channels, the shower is kinda the shits, but the guy is very friendly and helpful. There is an internet connection next to reception. Try to find elsewhere first, but it's not the worst thing if you end up having to choose this place.

We had a fireplace and a TV in our room and it was sooo cheap for 2 of us! The young guy who worked there was really nice and funny. The only weird part was that our bathroon didn't have a roof, it was like a make-shift bathroom, so it wasn't very private.
