Mariscal Hotel & Suites is a family run hostel in the main city. It is an adapted house for the purpose. All rooms and suites have cable-TV set, air condition, telephone internet access, business center. No restaurant but we have a dinning room to offer home cooking food when asked for and where we serve the breakfast, laundry service, parking lot. The suites have kitchennett and the rooms just a refrigerator. The suites have small dinning and living área. All have private baths with hot water. Cleanning everyday. We do not allow animals.

Although on a main street, this hotel is hard to find; it doesn't have a big sign stating its name. There is a small vertical sign that simply says "Hotel" and then where they put the building number. And there is a tiny sign that states "Mariscal Hotel & Suites." The atmosphere of the hotel is pretty. Our room was only average. The only lock the door had could be opened by anyone with a key; there were no extra security locks. The bathroom was very large, but the "hot" water was only lukewarm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is located less than half a block from a mall. The free continental breakfast is only two slices of toast, jam, a glass of orange juice and coffee. The parking is really bad — there's only room for maybe three cars, and you have to parallel park on a huge hill. Overall, I would rate this hotel as average. — Katie (2004-11-16)
