Description
The Atlas mountains spread far and wide across a massive expanse of Morocco, leading from the well known southern city of Marrakech, stretching to the southern beachside resort of Agadir and across to the country’s eastern desert region and Ouarzazete, the gateway to the desert.
Imlil, known as gateway to the High Atlas Mountains, is a village located at 1740 meters above sea level, close to the mountain Jebel Toubkal and only 1 and a half hours drive from the hustle and bustle of busy city Marrakech.
Located in the beautiful village of Imlil, the main gateway for trekking in the Atlas Mountains, Houssine's Riad offers you the chance to stay in this lively rural surrounding.
Breakfast each morning is included in the rates.
We offer 4 double ensuite rooms, 1 triple bed ensuite room (can be either 1 double bed or 1 single or 3 single beds at your request) with a private shower and WC and a 6 bed shared dorm. Our roof terrace enjoys nice views above several Berber villages where breakfast, lunch, dinner or mint tea can be enjoyed.
Additionally, the Riad offers a relaxing salon with a log fireplace (for cool evenings and the winter). Lunch and dinner are available each day for those who wish to enjoy traditional Berber Moroccan cuisine.
This is an ideal base for walking and other outdoor activities. Guides, mules and packed lunches can be organized on request.
The Riad also has a traditional Hammam for the perfect way to end the day.

Shared rooms bit too basic, definitely reccomend going for the twin rooms where there is lovely communal fireplace & huge hearty meals for 100 dirhams.

Riad Oussagou is great. The rooms are very comfortable, there's a really nice living room area. The food, breakfast and dinner, is excellent and plentiful. We arranged a great, very helpful, guide through the owners. The Riad is 10 minutes from Imlil, but it's well worth the walk. The owners will meet you in Imlil.

Gorgeous riad with very helpful staff. the food is excellent, and views from the rooftop terrace are great, too. A bit of a walk from the center of town, but worth it. When i arrived, a group was leaving and i was the only guest. the owner gave me a private room with bathroom for the same price, since i was the only guest for the night. the accomodation is really unbeatable for the price.
