Description
Alicante is known for its parks, gardens, and lines of palm trees, and it boasts several old plazas, some paved with marble and of course, for it beaches (Costa Blanca) of sandy beaches, a destination with many things to see & do.
Our rooms are meant to make you feel as comfortable as possible. They are very spacious and of minimalist decoration. All of them are equipped with air conditioning, full bathroom, telephone and TV. And if you want you can have coffee 24h. We organize musical sessions in our hotel with DJs from Fusinova 021 Records. There is also Internet and WI-FI area and vending machines in our living rooms.
‘Hotel Alamo’ is only a few meters from the sea side, in a great area where you can find all the Alicante Port services, shops, leisure area, etc. Within a short walk distance you can get to the main city avenues or the famous ‘Playa del Postiguet’ (beach).
-Postiguet Beach is right in the city center, and boasting a palm-lined promenade. Situated next to the leisure district at the city's marine complex, it is cleaned daily and offers a wide range of services both to bathers and visitors to the surrounding area. Around this area there are the bus and train station, and right in front of it there is an exceptional car parking.
We recommend you to see:
-El Agudo - Cuerda de La Murada
El Agudo is an area of natural beauty between the villages of Barbarroja and La Murada. Known as 'the protector' of La Murada this fantastic & rugged, mountainside is dotted with ravines carved out by rivers flowing since time began.
-Desafio Medieval (Medieval Jousting)
For a very medieval night out it is worth visiting the Castle of the Count of Alfaz. The evening's entertainment consists of jousting & swordplay acted out by experienced stuntmen/actors dressed as knights.
-El Palmeral
El Palmeral, made up of palm & date tree orchards. It is located very near the town of Orihuela, specifically in the North East quarter of Orihuela, near San Anton. El Palmeral is of Islamic origin.
-Cueva de Calaveres
This cave is situated 1.5 kilometres outside the town of Benidoleig. The magnificent cave is over 350 yards long and covered in stalactites & stalagmites. In places the domed roof reaches over 60 feet in height.
Cancellations are to be made 48 hours before arrival. We charge 1 night in case of late cancellation and 100% of the amount of your reservation in case of no-show.

It was basically a hotel room not a hostel. So there was no meeting fellow hostel goers but was a great deal. We stayed 3 days and were very happy. After a month of travelling it was great to have a TV in our room and be so close to the beach.

Very friendly clean and simple - but comfortable beds and nicely decorated room. Great location, and local food/services excellent. Great place to stay for a great price - wish all places in this price range were as good!

This property has a lot of character. We stayed in a 3 bed hotel room and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. The location is close to the beach and down town. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again. No fridge in room and may be a bit too noisy for light sleepers on weekends due to the young adults bar across the street.

We liked especially the excellent location, helpful staff and cleanliness. I recommend this to anybody who wants value for their money. New towels every day, bed linen was changed once during our stay which was enough. The room and bathroom are not big but this was not a point to consider. Just a few meters off the busy streets, not noisy. Explanada 2 minutes, Rambla about 7-8, walking. Air condition worked well, though in our north looking room we did not use it too much, we could sleep at open windows. Would have been nice is the internet was free (1 Euro per 30 minutes), but anyway , we could use it when we needed it. Not all persons from the staff speak English, but some yes and we could manage all situations.

This was a lovely hotel with a great location. It was very quiet so more suitable for a couple away (which we were!) The only thing re cleanliness was there was a strange smell in the hotel room. Nothing strong, just slightly off. But the rooms were serviced regularly and very clean.

yes i would, it was a lovely new-ish, clean hotel and thats what you have to remember it is a hotel so if your looking to meet other travellers in alicante you will find things very difficult. As i dont think there are any hostels around. But this hotel was in a good location 4 euros in taxi to train station, beach is one street up. dont eat on the water front, food is very average head to the old town it also has load more character.
