• 69 km drive to Dar Tassa normally takes around 1 hour 20 minutes from Marrakech.
• The first part of the journey follows a generally straight road (R203) to the town of Tahanoute before slowly winding up through the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. You then pass through the lively Berber town of Asni and continue on the R203 road which leads to the Tizi n’Test Pass and Taroudant. At the small village of Marigha (before entering Ouirgane) look for a signpost to Dar Tassa pointing left (after the second mosque).
• Here turn left onto a dirt / gravel road (which is accessible to hire cars if driven slowly) and after 6 km you will reach Douar Tassa village.
• Once in the village follow the signs to Dar Tassa which is the last building as you continue along the track above the valley.
• There is a small car park at Dar Tassa.
