• If travelling westbound on the M8 motorway, exit the motorway at Junction 15 and follow signs for Glasgow Royal Infirmary which you should see to your left. Enter Castle Street which continues onto High Street. After High Street Railway Station, take a right at the traffic lights and enter Ingram Street. Continue straight on Ingram Street and turn left at the lights onto Glassford Street. Take the first right onto Wilson Street and turn an immediate left onto Virginia Street. The Merchant City Inn is situated at the corner of Wilson Street and Virginia Street.
• If travelling eastbound on the M8 motorway, exit the motorway at Junction 15 on the right hand side, signposted Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Glasgow Cross. At the end of the slip road which meets Castle Street, take a right onto Castle Street and continue straight on. Castle Street merges onto High Street. After High Street Railway Station, take a right at the traffic lights and enter Ingram Street. Continue straight on Ingram Street and turn left at the lights onto Glassford Street. Take the first right onto Wilson Street and turn an immediate left onto Virginia Street. The Merchant City Inn is situated at the corner of Wilson Street and Virginia Street.

• Saint Enoch is the nearest subway station to the Merchant City Inn. On exiting Saint Enoch Station, take the escalator exit towards Argyle Street. Take a right at the subway exit and walk along Argyle Street heading in an easterly direction. Once on the pedestrianized section of Argyle Street, continue straight on until you come to Marks and Spencer. Take a left onto Virginia Street where Marks and Spencer is located. Walk up Virginia Street and the Merchant City Inn is on the right hand side at the corner of Wilson Street.

• If arriving by long distance coach at Buchanan Bus Station, there are local buses from the bus station which stop nearby the hotel. Buses 255, 263, 267 and 240 will take you from Buchanan Bus Station to the Ingram Street bus stop outside the Ralph Lauren Store. From the bus stop, cross Ingram Street, walk down the lane facing the bus stop which leads onto Virginia Street. Once on Virginia Street, continue straight on and The Merchant City Inn is on the left hand side at the corner of Wilson Street.

• Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street train stations are within walking distance, however, if you are carrying luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi, only a short taxi ride to the hotel from both stations.
