Many exciting things to do in the close vicinity for you to enjoy, be it fun, business, or education. Feel like a CHEF, there is the oldest farmers market, Saint Lawrence Market, close by, where you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and dairy products. Buy it, cook it, eat it; its that simple and the savings are just an added spice. Feel like treating yourself, for gift shopping or otherwise? Just to name the two, there is Eaton Centre, one of the largest shopping mall, perhaps in the world, and Yonge Street (The longest street in the world, 2200 miles long!), where many stores are open 16 hours or longer every day. Travelling on a budget? There are lot of free places to have fun. Skating at City Hall in winter or watching the picturesque fountains in other seasons, vintage architecture dating to 1800's, museums, boardwalk at the lake front and a lot more. The public transportation is at front door. Street car (trolley), bus, or subway (tube/ metro) you pay only one fare, no matter how far you travel within Toronto, you transfer free of charge from one system to the other.
