This “fabulous B&B” with “eleven rooms, all of them exquisite” (Lonely Planet, 2012, p. 329) is Villa Tehila, the foremost guesthouse in Old Rosh Pinna. The compound, a farmstead built of local stone, was restored to its nineteenth century form, with the finest twenty-first century amenities subtly woven into the charm of times gone by.
The Guesthouse is built like a khan (caravansary) with a large inner courtyard from which separate entrances lead into each room. Once inside, you will relax in your romantic bedroom, complete with hand-crafted furniture and quilts made by a local artist. For your extra pleasure – each room also has a whirlpool bath. Rooms are fully air-conditioned, and come equipped with a kitchenette where you can pour yourself a cup of tea or coffee, and even prepare your own meal.
Is indoor action what you seek? Go to the vaulted Clubhouse for a game of billiards or table football. Or just browse our rich library and choose a book, which you can enjoy with a beer from our Blues Brothers bar. Beer? Goes well with barbecue – bring your choice of meat and use our outdoor grills.
Our heated swimming pool is open 24 hours a day, as are the outdoor whirlpool and the sauna. You can also book health treatments given by our experienced therapists.
Rosh Pinna, with its quaint shops, picturesque houses, and winding streets is right out the door. The shops offer work by local artists, there are restaurants for every taste and budget, art galleries, cafes, and bars. For other attraction in this area you can visit Cabbalist and artists’ city Zefat (about 10-minute drive) or Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee. For the adventurous the area offers mountain climbing, rafting, and jeep tours.
