• From San José should take the Interamerican Highway north to Guanacaste, arriving at kilometer 149. At this point turn off to the right just in Gas Rancho Grande (entrance Sardinal) and continue 39 miles to Monteverde road, following the signs to Monteverde. In this income has paved approximately 10 km and 28 km of gravel road. From San Jose, it would be the first entrance on the right side, 1 kilometer after Rio Aranjuez and a restaurant called "The Basin".
