• TREKKING
• From the main plaza in Cabanaconde, facing the church, take the way that is behind you, the street next to the municipality of Cabanaconde and walk about 10 minutes west through the village until you reach the bullring. Follow the path around the left side of the bullring. After 5 more minutes you will see a lookout point perched on the edge of the canyon. Then just follow the main path, sometimes you will find zig-zag down, cross the Colca River and follow the road uphill until you come to a pathway leading to the left. Then you will find an other bridge, cross the Huaruro River, so 5 minutes more you will see the entrance to Llahuar Lodge. Recognize Us for the hot springs. Most people will take 3 to 5 hours from Cabanaconde to Llahuar.
• BY YOUR OWN CAR: (4x4, Minivan, Renault)
• In Cabanaconde take the opposite way to Chivay, you will find tree division on the way, always take the right side. When you will cross the first bridge you will find the last division so only this time take the left side. At the end of the route you will see a parking place. Then just walk 20 minutes to the (website hidden) usually take from 1:15 h to 1:40 h. BY 4X4 (available): We have 4x4 available from Cabanaconde- Llahuar, one way is S/200.00 and round trip S/360.00. Capacity from 1 to 6 paxs. The price is for the hold group, and is fixed in Peruvian soles.
• BY LOCAL CAR:
• There is also a local truck which goes from the main square in Cabanaconde at 6:00 am. It goes every Monday, Wenesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. It takes 2 hours down, and the cost is S/10.00 soles per person.
