Casa Pequeña Reviews

Description

Ecotourism in Costa Rica

Eco lodge - an unique experience in a rainforest with personalized tours and services.

Casa Pequeña is the name of a property that is located in Bahia Drake, located in the Peninsula de Osa, Costa Rica. Bahia Drake is a former pirate harbour and a peacefull paradise near Corcovado National Park. National Geographic calls the Peninsula de Osa de place with the most biodiversity of the planet.

Casa Penqueña is owned by Osvaldo and Daniella. Osvaldo is born in Barcelona (Spain) but has Tica blood streaming through his vessels.
He wants to live his dream of a self-sustaining live connected with nature. Daniella lives this dream with him.

A pioneering concept for the area, a farm which doesn't use repellents. You'll be living the farming live with us.
We have 2 private cabins built out of wood, electricity by solar energy. You're free to use the kitchen or eat with us typical Costa Rican food.

Casa Penqueña gives you the opportunity to participate in the daily activities of the farm. Make your own bread, see how juice is extracted from sugarcane, making chocolate, planting bananas, etc.
There is also enough time to relax, enjoy the sun, walk in the forest and go to the beach. There's a small village near the Casa (10 minutes walk). We have beautiful beaches nearby that you can visit by foot or by quad taxi.
Tours we offer: hiking trails through the forest, visit Caño Island, therapeutic massages, visit Corcovado Parc, canopy, horse riding, visit to waterfalls and the forest with a local guide, etc.

Your stay at Casa Pequeña will turn into a positive experience of living, learning and friendship.

"When I first arrived at the farm, I knew I was the first lucky guy who would touch this ground and I knew this was the right place to realize my dream.
Away from the ordinary, watches, haste, with a stable temperature of 19 to 32 oC (? oF) all year, without mosquitoes, the forest welcomed me and I felt like I was a part of it. From there, everything flowed and my feet were anchored as the roots of the trees.
I built something beyond my imagination; many people thought it was crazy but today Casa Pequeña is a reality. When you arrive, you will be recharged by the energy of the forest and beaches".
