The Location was very near the main train station as well as many of the citys attraction. all within walking distance. WiFi is really good. Lots of places to eat around the Hotel. Not the most stylish, but clean sheets and a place to sleep, if thats all that you are looking for.

The stay was nice...the place was clean and centrally located. The Internet did not always work on teh floor I was on as far as WIFI but other than that evverything was good. Although th ebreakfast, for 5 euro was not as good as I've had at hostels...it was ok to say the least. Also, their credit card machine was down and they asked me to pay cash, I refused because one of the reasons I choose the location is because they said they took credit card. I had them take my card information down and give me a copy of the receipt...hopefully they will charge me the correct amount...we shall see...

Very good hotel. Excellent position. Great staff. clean, quiet, beautifull, makes your stay in florence special. The only issue: they dont have elevator and we had to carry our bags all the way to the third floor.

Hotel Spagna is extremelly well located and the staff are very helpful and nice. However, the facilities are somewhat run down, and I did not find the place particularly warm or comforting. ---It all feels very impersonal; as if the place was very large--- I guess that for its location in Florence and the price it is a good deal; I however tend to prefer smaller, more personal businesses.

When we arrived to Hotel Spagna, we checked-in and were surprised with a 40 degrees bedroom, with the air conditioner broken! We asked the staff to fix it and they told us it was a common problem for the hole hotel. But it was a lie. When we understood they had lied to us, we spent the first night there, because there was no other option, and then we left. It was a terrible night, because of the heat, the light breakings, and the noise. We wont go to this hotel again.
