The property was amazing value for money we had our own double room for 10 euros per person per night. We had access to a functional kitchen and washing machine and shared the apartment with just one other couple. We were also picked up by Ana at the bus station, taken to the property and given a brief orientation of town to help us get around. Ana was really friendly and helpful and we would certainly stay at Casa Ana again when in Lagos.

We stayed in a en suite room on the 7th floor. The view was excellent, Matilde who I think she owns the house was very helpful. The room was quite, the bathroom big enough and the house had a fully furnished kitchen where you could cook sth or at least use the fridge to save some food. Very close to the center although we had a car.

It was our second time in Casa Ana and we like it a lot, again. Ana is such a nice person and is willing to realize a wonderful time in Casa Ana and Lagos. Our apartment was 5 minute from the beach and we could use a full equipped kitchen as well. This is 100% value for money!!!

If you arrive by train or bus, make sure to call the owner: she’ll pick you up by car and avoid you a long walk to the upper part of town. Also, it’s possible that your room isn’t at the address in the website but in some other apartment, like it happenend to us.
Still, it was a very nice and clean apartment, we had a bathroom and the kitchen for ourselves.

The apartment that we stayed at with Matilde was clean and comfortable and we had a balcony with sea views, which was very good value for what we had paid. 15 mins walk to the beach, 10 to the town, although it would have been nice to stay within the city walls the location was still generally very good. Matilde was very welcoming to us and we enjoyed the stay.

We have found this guesthouse on the Internet and booked 11 nights online. Before the booking itself, we contacted Ana, the owner, on the cellphone and asked her for a room with a private bathroom (en suite), because there was no such room on the Internet. Her English was great, so we had no communication problems at all. She kindly responded what she we will keep one for us, for a small additional payment. So far, so good. We went to Lagos and wrote her a SMS message about our arrival at the specific time. She was there, waiting for us at the bus station. She took us with a car and brought us in a small building on the third floor. After showing our room, we were impressed and happy to have it. It was colorful, with a huge window and big shelf for the clothes and luggage. The bathroom was very clean and new-looking. In our part of the floor, there were only two rooms (including our), sharing a large and very well-equipped kitchen. We had anything that we wanted to our disposal, free of charge: large fridge, an oven, toaster, dish-washing machine, washing machine for clothes, microwave oven, big table, knifes, forks, spoons, cups and everything you would ever need in a kitchen. During our stay, the sheets were changed once. We got the feeling that we are in a hotel. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay there and highly recommend to anyone going to Lagos. Here is our brief summary:- excellent room with private bathroom- great kitchen to our disposal- the price is fair enough- 15 minutes walking to the beaches- close to the Old Town of Lagos- close to Lidl supermarket- close to the bus station
