• By bus
• for around 10 USD one way with one of the bus companies from Quito. Ask for Panamericana, TransEsmeraldas o Occidental. The journey takes about 6 to 8 hours. There are direct buses from Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca, Portoviejo/Manta, Machala/Huaquillas, Riobamba, Ibarra, Santo Domingo, Banos/Puzo/Tena.
• By airplane
• There are several cities in Ecuador from where you can fly to Esmeraldas Airport, and also from Cali Colombia is a direct flight available. From the airport Esmeraldas you can take a cab that should not cost more than 25 USD or if you like we will organize you a confidential taxi to pick you up for the same price.
• Once in Atacames
• Take a mototaxi (tuc tuc for 0.50 – 1 USD per person) and tell the driver to take direction to the Malecon. Better make sure you have the entire address with you: Hostal Casa Chill Inn, Sector Playa, Salida del Paco Foco, Frente al Restaurant Bachita, Atacames. When you see in front of you a wall written Cabanas los Bohios, this street you enter left and after some meters you see a white house with tree and a black gate on your right. Ring the bell and we will be happy to give you a warmly welcome. Streets do not have names here in Atacames, if you are not sure also ask for Salida del Paco Foco Diagonal Restaurante Bachita.
• The mototaxi driver may tell you invented stories about our place and may try to bring you to another hotel. They get some extra dollars for bringing people to strange hotels. Insist to bring you to our place.
