Come and relax with us in one of the most beautiful areas in the world, the Black Forest, Germany. Our village is known as the 'village in heaven' and has views of the Swiss Alps. Its location means that although it is very peaceful access to both Switzerland is easy and you can wake up in rural tranquillity but be shopping in Zurich or Basel in an hour. We can provide airport pick up from Basel or Zurich or from the local Waldshut train station. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and you can get extra vegetarian meals at very little cost or use the full kitchen facilities if you choose to stay in one of our apartments.

the location of the place in is the middle of a small town in the balck forrest and its really nice, a nice escape from the modern cities. the familiy that run it are really friendly and are happy to help. the room is an attic space above the house which is a nice change from the normal hostels. the space offered a kichten, tv, nice beds, space to relax.

Booked two double rooms for 2 couples for two nights over Christmas. Both rooms were nicely decorated clean rooms with twin beds and an ensuite bathroom with a good shower . The owner lives in the middle floor. One room was in the attic and the other room (garden room) was in the lower ground floor. Both rooms had a kitchen with utensils and cutlery. There was free off street parking at the front of the house. The free breakfast had a good selection of cereals, juices, breads, cheese etc. This property is family run and is located in the lovely village of Hochenschwand. Lake Titisse, Rheinfall, Zurich, Basel are all a short drive away. Overall this was good value for money and would not hesitate to stay there again.
