Bed & Breakfast Evelina, Lucca

• Evelina Bed & Breakfast is located in the historic center and enables you to easily walk and discover the beauties of Lucca. The town's major attractions, such as Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, Torre Guinigi with its hanging garden, the famous churches, the birthplace of Puccini, several museums and the spectacular sixteenth century walls that surround the town are all within minutes of walking distance from the B & B.

• “Evelina” Bed & Breakfast is a 15mins walk from the train station.
• By Airplane
• If you are arriving in Pisa airport, you can get a bus to Lucca (it takes 50mins). The bus is blue and it is called 'Lazzi' or Vai bus'. You will find it around the front entrance of the airport. It will take you to Lucca bus station in 'Piazzale Verdi' which is just inside the historical centre, the B&B is 5 mins walk from the bus stop.
• By car
• When you arrive in Lucca, follow the signals for “Lucca centro”, when you arrive at the ring-road around the historical walls, keeping the walls on your right, go straight up to the third gateway entrance 'Porta Santa Maria'.
• Free parking: from the roundabout outside Santa Maria gate, take Via Barsanti e Matteucci then continue in Via delle Tagliate, after 200meters on your right before the gas station there is the entrance of the parking. The parking is 10 minutes walk to our B&B.
• Enter into the historic centre: Piazza del Carmine, beside our B&B, can easily be reached by car (click here to see the map) for loading and unloading your luggage. This is subject to previous approval by the Local Authority, which can be arranged by us if you give us the car’s number plate at your arrival.
