Description

Riad Zahraa is a charming guest house at the heart of Meknes Medina, noted for its central location and roofterrace with unbeatable views.
The riad is right in the middlr of the action, located in one of the oldest quarters of the medina. Place El Hedim, The Medersssssa, The Hammams and the souks are just a stone's throw away.
The alley entrance leads into a stunning grand courtttyard, with Islamic arches and original carved woods blending beautifully with the tiled floors decked out in Berber rugs and antique Moroccan furniture.
At the ground floor, the courtyard opens into two rooms and two suites; with a further two rooms at the first floor.
There is also a douiriya - a small house with a spacious salon, two rooms and a batroom - perfect for a family or a small group of friends. The decor throughout is elegantly simple, with restful hues and natural materials. The owners clearly feel in love with the fine handicraft Meknes is so famous for and fitted out the riad with antique furniture mixed with beautiful Berber rugs. This is a winning combination that adds bucket loads of character and creates a very authentic feel.
The riad has also a fantastic roof terrace with unbeatable views over the Medina.
Dining consists of traditional Moroccan cuisine, with an extensive feast of tagine, couscous and pastilla on offer.
