• The Hôtel Amirauté is ideally located in the heart of Toulon, a mere 2 minutes from the railway and coach stations, beside Place de la Liberté and close to parks with trees and children's play areas.
• Ideally situated for any administrative business you may have, the Toulon Amirauté is centrally located for all the main government offices (Town Hall, Chamber of Commerce, County Council, Prefecture and Central Police Station)
• It is also ideally situated for evenings out on the town. In fact, the Toulon Amirauté is close to the Pathé and Royal cinemas (foreign language and art house films) and a large number of bars and restaurants (in the town itself and overlooking the harbour 500 metres away). It stands just a short distance to the Mayol shopping mall, town centre shops and the pedestrian precinct with its old fountains and colourful daily market filled with the scents and sounds of Provence.
• Ideally located for sports and sightseeing, the Toulon Amirauté is within 1 km of the Mayol sports ground, the new sports centre and the town's swimming pool. The Mourillon district, 20 hectares of fully-equipped beaches with a wide range of water sports available, is only a few minutes away. If you enjoy walking or hiking, there are plenty of signposted footpaths along the coast and on Mont Faron (accessible by car or with the only cable car on the Mediterranean, providing a breathtaking view of the harbour and beyond). Another popular tourist attraction is the boat trip from Toulon’s inner harbour (300 meters from the hotel) around the outer harbour.
• Ideally situated for cultural events, the Toulon Amirauté is close to the town centre library, naval museum and art galleries (modern art, Asian arts) as well as the privately owned Galerie Porte d'Italie and Galerie des Remparts. With easy reach are countless places of interest, leisure activities and cultural events including music festivals, the Châteauvallon dance festival, the Zenith concert hall (8,500 seats), the conference centre, the theatre and the opera house (only 300 meters from the hotel).
