How is Cairo Inn rated on other websites?
Cairo Inn was great - clean with nice-decorated rooms and fantastically located.
The ambience was great. They have a balcony overlooking the main square in Cairo (Talat Harb Square) so after a long day, it's nice to sit on the balcony with a cup of tea and people-watch.
They also have daily housekeeping service, which was a nice surprise.
The staff were friendly and always willing to help.
However, because it is located in the heart of Cairo, you can't escape the incessant sound of car horns that go well into the night. Closing the windows and blinds helped a little but it was still quite intrusive. That's the only drawback. The rest was great.
Well done!

Cairo Inn was an excellent choice for my stay in Cairo, not only for its central location in the city but also for the cleaning and the services provided. Of course, if I had to return to Cairo, I would stay again in Cairo Inn Hostel.

Great location and staff. Very helpful with restaurant suggestions and getting reasonable cabs. Helpful when asked what various things should cost. Someone was waiting at the airport when we arrived just as promised.. We were very pleased with our selection of Cairo Inn

We could highly recommend this hostel. It was clean, newly refurnished and was better than we had expected. We had an double ensuite and our bathroom was fresh, clean and nice. Even the towels were great. The owner is very friendly and he is an entrepreneur. He has a shop nearby where he sell perfume and papyrus-paintings. You can however buy these products even at Khan Al Khalili - far cheaper, but maybe not the same quality. One of the staff did not fullfil his tasks and he was immediately sacked - high security level with web cameras. We especially appreciated the free wireless internet since we brought our mini-pc with us.From what we can understand this hostel is extremely nice and also cheap.

Cairo Inn is a lovely place, clean, well managed and in the heart of the city so very convenient to go everywhere...I had the best room with the balcony so you can lounge and watch the circle and see to he city lights. Service is great and the common room is perfect for meeting other tourists and foreigners who are visiting. Upon arrival I had a very short amount of time and a tour was expedited for me to Luxor and Aswan and thankfujlly I got to see the Pyramids, Muhammad Ali Mosque in a short, very short space of time so I am thankful to the great management of Cairo Inn for helping me on my trip.
