The general location was good, although the entrance to the hotel is in an alley. I stayed there twice during a two week stay in Spain, both times my rooms had no views. The rooms are very spartan, but you get what you pay for and this was comparatively, the least expensive room I rented. Would I stay there again, yes, but only as a safe and clean place to sleep. Nothing to write home about.

The staff was very knowledgeable about the area; we asked for restaurant recommendations and were given fantastic options. They were also very accommodating to and tolerant of our American-accented broken Spanish. The hostel staff cleaned our room each day we were there--it was great to come back to a clean bathroom and made beds after long days of sight-seeing. The hostel is very close to Capilla Real and within walking distance of the bus stop to the Alhambra. We were very happy with our stay!!

Staff friendly and helpful when asked for general assistance - no problems there. BUT although in a quiet street - unless you are there when there are no or very few other guests, OR unless you are there to party all night and sleep during the day, OR unless you can sleep through ANY NOISE AT ANY TIME then forget it - the walls are worse than paper thin - listening to your neighbours peeing through the wall is never pleasant and no matter how quiet people might try to be coming home at night - and when theyve had a few they are not likely to be trying to be quiet - then expect to be woken regularly through the night - thats if you can get to sleep in the first place. So in summary - good location (but tons of others also good) staff are fine, but if you want to sleep its an absolute no! Closest parking is 18 Euros per day OR PART OF DAY - even if only a couple of hours over into next day.

It was clean, and in a great location. We got fresh towels every day and clean sheets as well. The only problem was that the shower didn't drain very well, and it was kind of gross between 4 people. Everything else was great.
