We are located in a very good neighborhood. We are near to the Plaza de la Revolucion Square, the National Bus Station, the University of Havana, Old Havana, the Malecon, Rumba's Palace, Callejón de Hamlet and other important and beautiful places.
The house is perfect for your trip to Havana. The bedroom has one double and single bed, air conditioning, fan, a TV set,a stereo and a electronic safe with EH digital keypad re-programable master code end gest code . The bedroom is well ventilated and clear. There is a private bathroom with hot and cold water.The guest can use the kitchen for personal use and free cuban coffee available.

I really liked staying at Mabel's house, she has a great cook called Belgize that live's upstairs and does breakfast and traditional Cuban dinner for Mabel's guests. The woman makes incredible dishes for NO money.
The house is located a little outside but it takes 10 mins. with a bus so you get to see how the local lives which is really cool if you're travelling all the way to Cuba.
They were very helpful and wonderful. My stay there could not have been better, i would reccomend them any day and am defenetly staying there myself if i return one day.

Staying at Mabel's was great. We had the apartment to ourselves but Mabel came by at least once a day to clean and make sure everything was alright.
Belkis (a neighbor) provides amazing breakfasts and dinners.
Located in Vedado about 10-15 min walk from most of Havanas clubs, but about a 30-40 min walk from the main touristy area around the capitol and Vieja.
MUCHO recommended!

We had the whole apartment to ourselves and we could order breakfast and dinner from the neighbour (very cheap).
Mabel is such a friendly and helpful person. When we came back to Havana after staying at Mabel's a week earlier we didn't have a reservation and her apartment was booked out, she took us to a friend of hers where we could stay for the rest of our stay.
We would highly recommend this place. The neighbours are nice and the little pub/store on the corner is a fun place to meet some locals.
The apartment is also walking distance to Capitolio and Plaza Vieja.

Mabels house was the best casa we stayed in in Cuba. The facilities were equal if not better than the other casas we stayed in but what made it so great was Mabel herself. She was so helpful with every aspect of our stay and helped us hugely with accommodation. She sorted out places for us to stay inall the other cities we visited and found us a different place on Havana whenwe returned as she had a prior booking. She even sorted a taxi for us to the airport when we left even though we weren't staying at her house. It was a nice distance from the old town and cheap. I would recommend staying here. Fact!

awesome location between old havana and plaza de la revolucion, big clean apartment with kitchen, lounge and bath, the owner Mabel is super friendly and helpful, Belkys upstairs who prepares the meals is awesome and her food is fantastic, overall we were sad to leave but will be happy to return!

Mabel is the most helpful person we encountered in our travels and really went the extra mile for us, helping us find out travel information and hooking us up with good casas in other places. Her English is excellent and she is a great person to talk to. The house is nice and cosy with good facilities.

Mabel is the nicest and most helpful lady in Cuba!Snora belkley who does the cooking cooks the best meals, great tast and flavour. Sh changes it up evry day with nw dishes and things to try. The portions are crazy big and im a big eater!

Mabel's house is clean and quiet. She was incredibly kind and helpful and found us places to stay across Cuba. The breakfasts are cheap and a complete feast. The building was pretty, it may sound funny but I loved the metalwork over the bathroom window. She made us feel very welcome and accommodated. I would stay there again and recommend her to anyone looking for a clean, quiet and friendly place.

Mabel is very friendly and helpful. Within a couple of days I felt like I had known her for ages. I stayed here a couple of times, and if she didn't have a free room she would take the time to find me one elsewhere. Her house is very good value, as cheap as anywhere I found in the country and the location is ideal, with everything you could need, and loads of sights within walking distance. I thoroughly recommend this casa.

Mabel really saved our stay in Habana. We didn't have a guidebook, and it is impossible to find one in Cuba, so it was awesome to be able to ask Mabel all we needed to know (she even speaks English). The first day when we came she didn't open her door when we rang the bell. I think it is because the bell only works at times. So if this happens to you, try talking to the other people who live in the building. They know her, and we even found one who had Mabel´s phone number.

Although I didnt actaully stay with Mabel, Mabel found me alternate accomodation and called in on me several times to make sure I was happy, safe and to offer her assistance which she went out of her way to do.Mabels is slightly out of town but has the advantage of being a short walk to bus station to get you anywhere and walking distance to Vevado.
