The place offers a great number of tourist attractions, which have been improved by the Local Government, the cases of Piedra Pintada, since it is a huge sandstone pile that is set in an impeccable Municipal Park, and is 19 metres high, with a grey-brown, whitish and pink colour. It is located 2 km from the River Cuareim and 20 km from the city of Artigas and its envioronment is an ecologic reserve.
