"Thru-hiker 2008 - I was finishing up a 2008 N.B. hike Ga.- Harpers Ferry. I thru-hiked the A.T.in 1999 but passed on the Bears Den that year however other hikers said it was great. This year (mid Nov.) I was experiencing a freak cold snap with daytime temps in the upper 20's to low 30's snow flurries & evening temps. in the teens.
