"One of the best hostels I've stayed in throughout Europe. The free pool table was wicked but the staff just topped it off by going beyond the call of duty to make sure you're having a great time. I'd highly recommend it to anyone travelling through Turkey." … "Ephesus Inn Hostel is centrally located in Selcuk. Selcuk has a very special geography, which combines history with natural beauty. Our hostel is one of the best hostels of Europe. Our friendly, English-German speaking and very...

"Atilla's Getaway is just that -- a get-away. It is located about a five-minute drive outside of the very small little town of Selcuk which is itself an hour bus ride to the nearest medium-sized town of Kusadasi. And this is just perfect, because you don't really want to leave the Getaway. The Getaway is equipped with a large variety of rooms -- from the cheapest options of dorm rooms, to four-bed smaller rooms, to a hotel-style room.  "This hostel is run by an english speaking Turkish and Australian couple. It has very clean rooms and bathrooms in each room, a welcoming atmosphere and is centrally located only 2 minutes walk from the train station. They have meals available, at very reasonable prices, with indoor and outdoor places to eat. There is a common room for reading by the fire, and another one for watching satellite television. They have an extensive travel library for the travelers use, and internet on-site. They...

And Tom might also help you with getting around on his car for a fee smaller than taxis. I've attended hostel in the winter, so in rooms it was cold (bu they provide warm for additional fee). Everything else is...

Selcuk Travel Tips & Suggestions

Comment by Sarah Williams
Selcuk is a great way to see other points of interest. I was able to get to Ephesus, Pamakkale, the Greek village of Serince and Priene, Miletos, and Didyma easily. I would recommend staying in Selcuk to visit these areas.
