"Although I have rated this hostel as good, in our own experience we would rate as excellent. We had the place to ourselves!! We visited over new year 2003. The village is very small but this was an advantage. After ringing ahead to book the hostel (we arrived late) - the village shop was opened for us to stock up. The place was warm and the rooms were clean. There's a sauna downstairs in the basement and it looks like there was a pool in the summer but it was covered in snow and ice. And we got a short glimpse of the northern lights... more »
