There was a great sense of the Catalonia culture and warmth in every person I met. As an outsider the people of Olot were so friendly and open to my curiosity. It is surrounded by a beautiful chain of small and dormant volcanoes and one even with a church at the very top! And very close by are unbeleivable other pueblos that will simply take your breath away. Like Castellfolliet for exapmle - it sits at the very edge of a cliff. It has rich stores, cobble stone roads and a very quaint atmosphere. It is a very modern town still with its old-time heritage.
