Campus de Montilivi Youth Hostel was inaugurated in September 1998. The hostel accommodates students of both genres and includes 210 rooms laid out as single rooms (56), single rooms with shared kitchen facilities (64), rooms for two (8) and split-level flats for four (82). "This was a hostel that really surprised me, just like the whole city. It's bang in the middle of Girona's medieval centre with its ramparts, the cathedral and all those narrow alleys.
The hostel has 4 floors, and there is an elevator, however it wasn't working when we stayed there. The rooms are spacious and clean, there's 3 beds (1 of them a bunk bed) and 1 table+chair for every person. There's also huge luggage lockers. You don't need any padlocks for them, just a €2 coin which you get...
