"Ribadesella is a wonderful, if rather touristy town, which is well worth a visit. But staying here was the most ghastly experience I have had hostelling. The warden and her young team do all they possibly can to be awkward, rude, and even plain hostile. Don't try rinsing wet clothes in the basins -- you will get shouted at. Don't take young children -- they will be terrified by the large dog just left roaming the site. Do take a friend, though as they will get asked to pay your bill.
