"Oasis Backpackers' Hostel Sevilla is such a chill hostel with tons of people eager to hang out, at a great price, and in good location! The hostel recently moved into a new building, and it definitely is feels like an oasis after traveling around and staying at various other hostels. There is a common room on the ground floor with free internet (and computers that have memory card readers...
"Nuevo Suizo is located in a tiny alley called Azofaifo. This street is not listed on most maps, but it is just off of Calle Sierpes, Seville's main shopping concourse. This area is bustling by day but very quiet at night. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and Alcazar tourist area. The building is a quaint converted house, with none of the institutional feel of some...
"This was by far the best hostel we stayed in during our two months backpacking around Europe. They live up to everything they claim, free breakfast (including yummy little muffins), free internet, a big tv room fully stocked with English and Spanish DVDs, a great kitchen, clean bathrooms with ample hot water. You only shared your bathroom with one other room, and the rooms are for two people...
(Carmona)
"I was in this beautiful hostel in June and I was glad to have made my reservation. The staff were really nice to me; they gave me all information that I needed to see all Carmona and a big part of Seville. I didn't need to visit a tourist office because they helped me a lot. The five days I was in Carmona I enjoyed it a lot. In the evenings I was in the swimming pool of the hostel and in the...
"If i could, i would give this place a minus-one star rate. Rude, unfriendly, unhelpful staff, and there was no free internet, no free coffee, no TV room as promised on their own website." … "Seville Backpacker Hostel Picasso If you want to travel to Seville to good price and to lodge at the center of the city you do not search any more, in Hostel Picasso we offer you for what you are...

Its unique location is within easy walking distance of all the most popular tourist sites, galleries, shops, tapas bars and restaurants in the city. -5 min: Shopping and entertainment areas (Campana, Sierpes and Tetuán) -10 min: The...

Samay Hostel is Sevilla’s newest backpackers & travelers’ hostel, located in the heart of Sevilla’s oldest and most romantic neighborhood, “Barrio Santa Cruz.” Take a stroll through these dim, mazelike streets and alleyways and bask in the city's ancient past. You can stuff your belly in one of the many Tapas bars located just outside our doors. If it is flamenco or bullfighting you are...
The Rector Ramn Carande University Residence was inaugurated in October 2002, in agreement with the Universidad de Sevilla. The residence is mixed and has 381 places in individual and double rooms. There are also rooms adapted for the handicapped. All the floors have equipped individual kitchen, sitting room-dining room, full bathroom, toilets, electric heating, air conditioning (sitting...
"A large HI hostel, and currently the only hostel in Seville. Everything about this HI hostel is perfect, except the location. The place is difficult to find, inconvenient to most of the popular sites and a bus is required to reach the city center. It's a shame that it is not easier to find, because it is a clean and comfortable hostel. The rooms hold 2-4 people, most with large private...

Don't hesitate, get there as quickly as you can. We've been three or four times including 2003 for Celtic in the Cup Final, it really is an amazing and friendly place to be.

It's the best city in the world, although super hot in August. It's an amazing, amazing place.

Seville is beautiful. The feel of the city is fantastic and the people are really friendly. The orange trees and old cobbled streets are exquisite and it's also very safe.

Sevilla is a must see for anyone going through southern Spain. The Alcazcar and Cathedrale are must see. If you are around for a bullfight (usually on Sundays in the summer) go to it. They are bloody, but it is an experience you will never forget. At least go on the tour of the bullring if you think you can't handle a fight, or aren't in town for a fight. Go to La Carbonaria for free Flamenco. It is on Calle Levies (#18), get a local to point it out for you on a map. Also there is a place called Tex Mex just around the corner from the Cathedral that serves cheap, good North American food for North Americans who may be feeling a bit homesick.

Sevilla is one of the most beautiful cities, with flamenco, monuments and tapas bars. A good example is Casa Carmelo in calle Gloria, Barrio Santa Cruz. It's edible art at its best!

A truly wonderful city. Worth going to at least once in your lifetime. The architecture and the gardens are amazing. However, if you don't want to get fried in the heat, avoid going there in July/August. It's unbelievably hot.

Sevilla is one of the most beautiful cities with a unique culture... flamenco, beautiful architecture, tapas bars. Try Calle Betis for bars with Americans or the Alameda (near the pillars of Hercules) for Spanish bars. Stay in Santa Cruz but don't miss Triana on the other side of the river. And remember it is f@$#ing hottt here July-August... come in the spring or fall!

Seville is unlike any other city anywhere! It's very cheap to eat and stay here. The weather is great, the people so friendly and everything in Seville is close at hand wherever you need to go and we're going back again in 5 days... it's worth it!

I lived here for 9 months, it's amazing! For free flamenco shows try La Carbonaria in the Barrio Santa Cruz (decent shows, begin at midnight), or try Casa de La Memoria, Calle Ximenez de Enciso. Cheap great value shows (about 9pm, make reservations). The cathedral of course and the Alcazar. Good place to party at night if you want to meet Americans is calle Cetis across the river, loads of bars.
