Newtonmore Hostel  "This is maybe the best and coziest place we've come across in our trip to Scotland. In Newtonmore we found the kind and helpful guidance of Peter and Kathy. The common room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the wonderful kitchen, the shelves packed with books and leaflets, and the melodies from the hi-fi. The heated rooms, clean showers and the small but comfortable bunk beds were quite okay. We dearly recommend this place to all of you who want to make the most of nature, and find a great... Strathspey Mountain Hostel "A charming homely converted victorian villa with 4 bedrooms sleeping 18 persons. Feels like being in a house rather than a hostel. Full central heating and a cosy coal fire. Colour TV with teletext and VHS video. Lots of hot water. Power Showers. 3 toilets. no meters. bedding supplied. Private room for 2 is £25-00 per couple per night. Good cooking and dining facilities.
